As the Community Manager of The Villa, Kayla oversees day-to-day operations and serves as a key resource for residents who call The Villa home. She wears many hats in her role, providing leadership and support for Activities and Kitchen staff, while helping ensure a fun, welcoming, and resident-centered environment. A native of the area, Kayla grew up in Glyndon and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), where she studied Gerontology and Psychology. She has had a passion for working with older adults since the age of 16, when she began her first job in a nursing home—an experience that shaped her commitment to resident care and engagement.  Outside of work, Kayla enjoys being outdoors, reading a good book, trying new foods, and spending time with family.
