Farmstead Living

Welcome to the Farmstead family. Whatever your needs— senior living, assisted living, advanced care, or memory care— we’re here to make you feel safe and at home. Our roots run deep in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Roger Erickson, a Moorhead native, built and designed Farmstead Living on 12 acres of farmland with his parents in mind.

Employee Spotlight: Liza Nelson

Liza is a CNA at Farmstead Living and has been with Farmstead six years, soon to be seven. "I look forward to a happy New Year and working here the rest of my life," Liza said. Her favorite hobby is cooking and includes egg rolls made from scratch as her specialty. Talking to the residents includes lots of laughter and smiles as Liza always encourages others to look at the bright side. She especially enjoys helping residents make a plan for the day so there is always something to look forward to.

“I always encourage and stay positive with the residents. I like to say that's why there is a rainbow after a storm."  ~ Liza

Employee Spotlight: Susan Siverson

Susan's time in the kitchen reaches beyond Farmstead—she owned the Donut Hole bakery in Fargo for 20 years. She admittedly likes to bake more than cook, but does like to make a big pot of chili for her family.
